ABOUT THE BOOK

Reading a good poem can sometimes ease our anxiety and stress amidst what we're experiencing now that we're still on quarantine period. 

That's why our small team of Asi language warriors have gathered online and weaved our own collection of poems about our current situation. 

Hibi ag Tibaw sa Panahon et COVID-19 is a short compilation of poems written in a local language in Romblon and translated into English. It revolves around topics about our current situation on the coronavirus and our frontliner workers. 

All proceeds will go directly to UP PGH Bayanihan Na! Fundraising Campaign to help our noble health care workers fight against the COVID-19 situation.

We wish that this anthology of poems can somehow give you a spark of hope and joy. 

BOOK SPECIFICATIONS

This short collection of 30 quatrains or four-liner poems is written by different Asi poets and writers. The poems are divided into three relevant themes: 

1) the COVID-19 Situation 

2) Anxiety, Lamentations, and Hope and

3) Gratitude for our Frontliners. 

This collection of poems is written in the Asi language, a local mother tongue in Romblon, and are translated into English.
